Triple varus is a bow leg deformity where varus bowing of the knees increases on standing and also the knees tend to go backward.

 

Cause of triple varus

This happens when the bow legs are associated with a deficiency of all of the posterolateral structures, adding a varus recurvatum to the bowing.
