Re: Compex better than other E-Stim machines?

I'm afraid the globus and compex are out of my budget. The neurotrac xl looks about the best i can buy but i am wondering if buying it would be worth it.

Re: Tight lateral quad after lateral release.

The back of the kneecap was shaved at my last op 2 years ago. The surgeon said there is a lesion and microfracture may be required if it gives me bother but he did not say the location inside knee. I will find out the full extent of what has been done when i see the surgeon in a few weeks

Re: The (not so) magical mystery knee

Hi,
I see no one else has responded to you. where exactly is your pain? right at the front of knee, lateral , medial?
When is it painful, full extension, when bending, all the time?
Any swelling at front ?

Tight lateral quad after lateral release.

Hi Folks, 2 weeks ago i had LR done to my right knee. It's my 6th knee surgery so i've been around the block a bit with knee surgery but my lateral quad is the tightest it's ever been. I can't even get full flexion with it and its putting a lot of pressure on the lateral side of my knee. Has anybody...

Re: Lateral release question(s)

Driden, I hve never been properly diagnosed as having misalignment but i have never been diagnosed as having anything cos surgeons evade my qustions. I think i might have this misalignment problem from talking to a couple of physios and an osteopath who treat the symptoms with trigger point therapy ...

Re: Post op problems, Fat pad debridment

after 6 months of constant rehab my knee is still painful and my vmo works when i do static quads and use estim but when i try to do wall slides or squats the lateral muscles overpower the medial ones. i seem to be going round in circles. the biomechanics of my leg are way out also( foot pronates, t...
