Meniscal replacement

A meniscal replacement is a replacement of the part or all of the meniscus after the native tissue has been removed.

Results of meniscal replacement

For symptomatic meniscus defects after meniscectomy, transplantation of allograft or collagen meniscus implant may be indicated, and acceptable clinical results have been obtained.
