Arthrofibrosis of the knee is a devastating complication after injury or surgery, but the astute clinician should be able to recognise the warning signs in time to prevent long term issues.

This course explains normal range of knee motion, and the reduced range of motion consequent on 'arthrofibrosis' (internal scarring in the knee joint). Dr Noyes discusses those factors that can precipitate such scarring, and the physiotherapeutic and surgical therapies that may improve the patient's outcome.
