Day case Audit. I am currently involved in a project on day case patients. We have noticed that a sizeable number of patients admitted as day case stay back into the hospital for a day or even two. This is a particular problem being faced by the Arthroscopy unit in the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham.
