BPC-157 Peptides for fat pad

Post by EstherRuth »

saw integrative doctor on youtube talking about BPC-157 Peptides for injured fat pad. but then i read BPC-157 stimulate healing so thinking would not be good for those with an dysregulated overly reactive inflammatory healing like arthrofibrosis. any opinion? thanks

While BPC-157's ability to promote healing and reduce inflammation may seem beneficial, its effects on conditions like arthrofibrosis require careful consideration. It's possible that BPC-157 could exacerbate the dysregulated healing process or interact with other medications or treatments being used.

I had to look up a couple of papers, as this is something new to me.

This paper says "BPC 157 may play an important role in promoting tendon healing....[via] increased expression of growth hormone receptor in tendon fibroblasts." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6271067/

That implies to me, please correct me if I am wrong, that it is more likely to promote scarring than to decrease it....
