'Prone hangs' is an extension stretch.

Prone hangs is a stretch which is done while lying on your stomach on a firm surface.

Slide down to allow both legs to hang off the edge and try and relax into the position for 5 minutes.

If you are having difficulty getting the bad knee straight, hook the front of the good leg over it and use its weight to offer further stretch. Stretches always need to be done slowly to have real effect.
