Experience:

Dr Bagaria is well versed with latest technology in the field especially Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), Computer Navigated Surgery (CAS) and patient specific instrumentation (PSI). On sports injury front, his forte is in managing injuries of elite athletes and general population in particular in performing ACL reconstructions, arthroscopy of Knee, ankle & shoulde.

Dr Bagaria did his post graduation (MS) in Orthopaedics from the prestigious KEM Hospital, Mumbai after completing his MBBS from Govt. Medical College (GMC), Nagpur during which he received three gold medals. He then worked at Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, USA for a year during which he also received two international awards and diploma from SICOT, Belgium. He then undertook fellowship in advanced joint replacement and adult reconstruction in Germany and later at Perth & Melbourne in Australia. He is the first Indian to top the international Diploma SICOT exam. He has a special training in management of sports injury from Sportsmed SA, Adelaide Australia a center dedicated in managing such injuries.

He has received many national and international awards. His name has been included in the Marquis Who's who for achievements in his field and he was chosen to represent the medical community in the Beijing Olympic torch relay held in 2008. He is a recipient of the prestigious Korean award and Lester Lowe award and is serving on the editorial board of many journals having authored many papers and book chapters in international journals & books. Apart from his varied clinical interest; he has special research interest in trauma prevention and integrating GIS technology to monitor trauma cases; developing CAD CAM assisted joint replacement prosthesis and using stem cells in tissue regeneration.
